b2ap3_thumbnail_Frank-Lloyd-Foundation.pngEveryone’s invited to attend the Figurative Sculpture Summer Camp happening from Monday, July 7, to Friday, July 18, 2014. The camp starts at 9:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon at the Frank Lloyd’s Wright Taliesin West located at 12621 N. Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Participants get to work with water-based ceramic clay and oil based, non-fired clay. Campers can likewise investigate and have a closer look at human and other natural forms. Guests can also develop their observation skills of basic anatomy as well as sculpture of the human figure through daily sculpture.

The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation offers students a living experience of Frank Lloyd Wright’s body of work through their classes, camps, and workshops. Such activities highlight and revolve around the arts and architecture.

Those interested to join need to have prior experience. This camping session is for Grades 7 to 12. Admission is priced at $750.

The aforementioned aquatic centers will all be open for public swim on the said date and time. Grab this chance and just have fun in the water with the whole family while listening to music. Let the kids swim and play as they have fun under the sun. Prepare yourself and your family for a poolside picnic. There will be food vendors on site.

Make this Independence Day a unique one by celebrating it by the beach-front and simply enjoy the water-play features available.

Be reminded that there will be no swim lessons on July 4, 2014 and regular pool admission fees still apply.

This concert series will run every Sunday until July 9, 2014. So be sure to grab this opportunity to watch this free concert series and just enjoy the music. Make the experience more fun by bringing a blanket or chair and enjoy listening to a number of favorite local bands who will be performing.

Get to ride a train and the carousel for only $2. Children under three years old may ride for free as long as there’s an accompanying paying adult.Food is also available for purchase.

This session will be from 10:30 to 11:00 in the morning at the Mustang Program Room located at 10101 N. 90th Street, Scottsdale, Arizona.

The storytime session is particularly created for fathers and their kids to have some quality time together, as being a working father usually means having less time with the family. Dads are highly encouraged to grab this great opportunity to have fun with their little ones.

Participants are advised to get in touch with a staff member before the start of the storytime, who will be giving out a numbered ticket which serves as the child’s registration.

b2ap3_thumbnail_MIM.pngAll are invited to attend the Playing for Change Event on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 and will start at 7:00 in the evening at the Musical Instrument Museum located at 4725 E. Mayo Boulevard, Phoenix, Arizona.

This event is a multimedia movement which was created to connect, inspire, and bring peace throughout the world by means of music. It was in 2009 when filmmaker Mark Johnson brought together more than 100 musicians coming from all parts of the globe with the aim of uniting street and local musicians.

Current members of the Playing for Change’s are musicians from Japan, United States, Italy, the Netherlands, Cuba, South Africa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Israel. Other artists that this organization have collaborated with include Jackson Browne, Toots and the Maytals, Tinariwen, Ziggy Marley, BabaaMaal, and Jimmy Buffett to name a few.

Admission fees are from $37.50 to $47.50.
