Middle School Students and guests are invited to be part of the Community Chemical Awareness Program (CAP) happening on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. The program will be from 6:00 to 9:00 in the evening at the Supai Middle School, 6720 E Continental Drive, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Interested students have to be accompanied by a parent or parents and should participate with the youth. A certificate verifying the participation will be given upon completion of each student.

Each session will consist of two evening and will be three hours long. Preregistration is likewise required and has to be confirmed at least two days before the class as the class size is limited.

The Auxiliary of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale is inviting all to be part of the Visions of Sugarplums on Monday, November 24, 2014. The event will be from 9:30 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort, 7575 E Princess Drive, Scottdale, Arizona.

Guests will get to enjoy gourmet foods and gift baskets, participate at silent and live auctions, marvel at the timeless treasures including vintage collections, and the likes. There will also be The Urban Plum (with trendy clothing, home décor, and accessories) and cookbook for all seasons (having 600 recipes), boutique (filled with crafts made from the heart with hand sewn and knitted clothing and accessories, holiday décor, and pottery).

Single seat at the general table is $85, single seat at tier two table is $110, and single seat at runway table is at $160. On the other hand, general table for ten is $850, tier two table for ten is $1,100, and runway table for ten is $1,600.

All are invited to come and participate at the Document Shredding Event on Saturday, November 22, 2014. The event will be from 7:00 to 10:00 in the morning at the Walmart parking lot (FLW & 101), 15355 N Northsight, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Everyone is encouraged to have their documents shredded to avoid being a victim of Identity Theft. This Shred’Em event will help people dispose of their personal or business documents properly. Shredding these important files makes disposing it so much easier. Others would simply crumple such documents but fail to remember that others may still read what is written in the paper.

Cost is $3 which is also a suggested donation per paper bag full of documents. All of the funds gathered will benefit the Shop with a Cop as well as other children’s programs.
