The Arizona Reining Horse Association (AzRHA) is inviting everyone to attend their AzRHA equestrian Mother’s Day Slide which happens every day until Sunday, May 11, 2014. The event will be from 8:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon at the Westworld of Scottsdale located in 16601 N. Pima Road, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Reining is a spectator-friendly sport combining expert horse training, elements of speed, and riding skills all together. This kind of sport requires a horse to be responsive and in sync with its rider. The judging factor would be how the horse responds and carry out any command given.

Don’t miss the opportunity to see such magnificent horses for free.

The AzRHA is a not-for-profit organization that aims to promote and grow the sport of Reining within Arizona and outside. They adhere to a number of rules and regulations that the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) provides. Add to that, the group gives forums for breeders, exhibitors, and to any who shows passion and interest in the sport.

The horse show will be from 8:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon and will be held at the WestWorld of Scottsdale located in 16601 North Pima Road, Scottsdale, Arizona.


The American Saddlebred Association of Arizona (ASAA) will be showcasing the gems of the equine world for free through this event. Friesians, Tennessee Walking Horses, and Morgans will compete in varied categories such as saddle eat equitation, pleasure classes, and a whole lot more.

The ASAA is an American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) Charter Club that aims to enrich the experience of their members.They also carryout promotion of the Saddlebred within Arizona that gives newcomers a different involvement while learning more about the breed. Some activities include riding in parades, hosting horse shows, trail rides, and many others.

Everyone is highly encouraged to attend the April Pools Day on Sunday, April 27 2014. The event will be at the Eldorado Aquatic and Fitness Center in 2301 N. Miller Road, Scottsdale, Arizona from 1:00 until 5:00 in the afternoon.

Children love the water and sometimes fall in without the adults noticing. Because of this, kids who do not know how to swim are most likely to drown. By attending this activity, children and families get to acquire new tips on how to prevent drowning and keep kids safe when they are around water.

Guests can also share their new found knowledge to their friends and other relatives so they too can avoid the perils of drowning. No one wants mishaps especially when the kids are involved. Be sure to attend this event and make sure that your children are safe.

More so, participants will get to see exhibits and water safety demonstration plus prizes and raffles are all lined up.

Everyone is encouraged to take part in Scottsdale’s "City Litter Pickup" event happening on Saturday, April 26, 2014. The event will be from 12:00 midnight until 11:59 in the evening; it will be happening all throughout the city.

The City Litter Pickup event focuses on keeping local roadways clean and scenic. It is likewise part of the Keep Scottsdale Beautiful event. Residents and businesses alike have adopted a road which they will be cleaning and picking up litter on the day of the event.

Participants of this activity will be given cotton gloves, safety vests, plus trash bags. Having these things will surely make the clean-up effort easier and less hazardous. Add to that, cleaning up the city will allow residents to have a more beautiful and pleasing neighbourhood.

It is a free event so make sure not to miss this one.
