b2ap3_thumbnail_Tempe-Community-Market.pngThe Tempe Community Action Agency invites everyone to come and join their Community Market Event every Sunday starting on April 20, 2014 until December 31, 2015. The location is at 620 No. Mill Avenue and will be open from 8:00 in the morning until 1:00 in the afternoon. During summer, this community market is open from 8:00 am up to noon.

The agency launched the Tempe Community Market to bring locally grown food as well as products to the locals. Plus it offers a “community exchange” that welcomes produce from those with backyards, markets, and even community gardens and surplus produce.

There is no fee to those who want to visit the market. This is the chance for the locals to eat and buy locally grown food. Through doing this, buyers are assured of the quality of food that they are buying.

For any questions, please call Cindy Gentry at (602) 469-9400. Feel free to visit http://www.tempeaction.org for added information.
