b2ap3_thumbnail_Thunderbird-Artists.jpgEveryone is invited to attend the Arizona Fine Art Expo which runs daily until March 30, 2014 (Sunday) from 10:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening held at the Thunderbird Artists, Inc., 26540 N Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ.

The aim of the Fine Art Expo is uniting more than 100 nationally celebrated and awarded artists which passionately produce art within the studios. There are paintings in all mediums like ink & pen, assembling mosaics, pastels and pencils, designing and sculpting jewellery, composing mixed media on canvas, and welding to name a few. Guests will surely enjoy the quiet ambiance as they leisurely stroll on paths that flow in the two-acre Sculpture Garden.

The $10 admission fee is for season passes, $8 for seniors and members of the military, while children 12 years old and below can come in for free.

b2ap3_thumbnail_Scottsdale-Giant-Race.pngEveryone is invited to attend the Scottsdale Giant Race which will be happening on Saturday, March 8, 2014. The Scottsdale Stadium located at 7408 E. Osbourne Road in Scottsdale will be the venue from 7:45 until 11:00 in the morning.

The San Francisco Giants, creators of the baseball-themed Giant Race Series, will be carrying out their first Scottsdale Race. This activity will be joining the established San Jose and San Francisco Giant Races and extend the series to be included in a year-round offering kicking off in Scottsdale. It will then continue in San Jose on the 28th of June and culminates in San Francisco on 7th of September.There will be a “Complete Game 9 Kilometer” as well as the “Strike 3 Mile” which finishes on the field at the Scottsdale Stadium, the Giants Spring Training home.

Proceeds from the event will benefit its official non-profit partner, Charro Foundation, which actively fundraises on behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale and the Scottsdale Unified School District.

Second Street in Scottsdale, AZ. The Festival will be on March 14 (Friday) to 16 (Sunday), 2014 from 10:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening.

Attendees will get to see 20 toe-tapping Arizona bands and entertainers. Add to that, there will be 12 gourmet food trucks that will be serving mouth-watering delights. A number of artists who work in photography, painting, jewellery, sculpture, glass and ceramics, and the like will also be there.

Some works of art are available for purchase directly from the artists. Others who cannot personally go there can look at the Festival’s online art auction.The admission for a single day pass for students is $8 while it is free for children 12 years old and under and members.

b2ap3_thumbnail_Celebration-of-Fine-Art-Scottsdale-AZ.pngCelebrate Art invites fine art enthusiasts to join them in their 24th Annual Celebration of Fine Arts which will be held at the South West Corner of Hayden Rd and Loop 101 (big white tents). It will be open daily until March 23, 2014 (Sunday) from 10:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening.

Guests will get to meet 100 working artists, find out how and why they do what they do, visit their studios, and also participate in their creative processes. Attendees will also get to see how these artists work using watercolour, sculpture, oil, and also pastels. Other artists use other media like jewellery, glass, ceramics, furniture, stone, and the likes.

The Admission fees are as follows:
