Join us for a day filled with inspirational speakers as we celebrate and honor our veterans.  The memorial takes place on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, from 3:00-4:30 pm at MC-Cormick Stillman Railroad Park on 7301 E. Indian Bend Road in Scottsdale, AZ 85250.  


This park sits in the heart of Scottsdale, AZ and features trains from the past and present as well as carousel rides and shops, amongst other attractions.  Admission is free and open to the public.


The annual veterans day celebration promises an event with great speakers and live performances that express gratitude and respect for our veterans.  


You are invited to celebrate and enjoy this great day as we pay our respects and offer up praises and gratitude for our soldiers.  For more information call (480) 312-2312.

This event is the largest baby expo in Phoenix, and it is the perfect place for new and expectant parents to learn all they need to know about raising new babies and browse the latest childcare products on the market.


Some of the highlights of the expo include over 100 vendors showcasing their products, health and fitness education, parenting tips, live entertainment and plenty of free samples and other giveaways.


The Fall Babies Bonanza Showcase & Expo will be held at the North Hall of Westworld at 16601 North Pima Road in Scottsdale, Arizona. The event will last from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM and is free to adults and children of all ages.

b2ap3_thumbnail_1_20150928-081747_1.jpgInviting all seniors to this one day event dubbed "Connecting seniors to services Oct. 2"which will be held at the Granite Reef Senior Center Friday, Oct. 2.The event is aimed at connecting seniors with services in Scottsdale .Some of the agencies participating include the City of Scottsdale, Jewish Family & Children’s Service, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and the Area Agency of Aging which will assist and offer information such as veteran services, legal services, Social security and identification cards.


Other activities planned for this event include blood pressure screening, collection of unwanted over the counter medicines for proper disposal and talks on advance directives.


Seniors are kindly requested to carry along with them a proof of residency, a picture id, present or expired driver’s license, a Medicare card and a list of medications. Kindly CLICK ON THIS LINK for details.

Tickets for the event run form $45 to $800, depending on which designers you choose to enjoy. Attendees are asked to check in by 6:00 pm and will lose their seats if not seated by 7:50 pm. Doors will be open at 5:00 pm.


The event aims to bring national and international designers together with retailers and fashion media. The Phoenix Fashion Week @ Talking Stick Resort- Thur. Oct. 1 - Sat. Oct. 3 is respected for its community involvement and for bringing the international fashion scene to Phoenix. The event will feature 13 up and coming designers and kicks of with a mixer.

The event opens with an art gallery exhibit, the ballet begins at 3:00 pm and after there will be a dessert reception and an opportunity to be creative and participate in art activities.


The event will be held at Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts, located at 7380 East 2nd Street, Scottsdale, Arizona. This event is free and everyone is welcome. This event is sponsored in part by Scottsdale Cultural Council and by the Scottsdale League for the Arts. Free parking is available for attendees of Storybook Ballet: Cinderella and Family Art Activities.
