Everyone’s invited to attend the Figurative Sculpture Summer Camp happening from Monday, July 7, to Friday, July 18, 2014. The camp starts at 9:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon at the Frank Lloyd’s Wright Taliesin West located at 12621 N. Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, Scottsdale, Arizona.
Participants get to work with water-based ceramic clay and oil based, non-fired clay. Campers can likewise investigate and have a closer look at human and other natural forms. Guests can also develop their observation skills of basic anatomy as well as sculpture of the human figure through daily sculpture.
The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation offers students a living experience of Frank Lloyd Wright’s body of work through their classes, camps, and workshops. Such activities highlight and revolve around the arts and architecture.
Those interested to join need to have prior experience. This camping session is for Grades 7 to 12. Admission is priced at $750.
