Second Street in Scottsdale, AZ. The Festival will be on March 14 (Friday) to 16 (Sunday), 2014 from 10:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening.

Attendees will get to see 20 toe-tapping Arizona bands and entertainers. Add to that, there will be 12 gourmet food trucks that will be serving mouth-watering delights. A number of artists who work in photography, painting, jewellery, sculpture, glass and ceramics, and the like will also be there.

Some works of art are available for purchase directly from the artists. Others who cannot personally go there can look at the Festival’s online art auction.The admission for a single day pass for students is $8 while it is free for children 12 years old and under and members.

b2ap3_thumbnail_Celebration-of-Fine-Art-Scottsdale-AZ.pngCelebrate Art invites fine art enthusiasts to join them in their 24th Annual Celebration of Fine Arts which will be held at the South West Corner of Hayden Rd and Loop 101 (big white tents). It will be open daily until March 23, 2014 (Sunday) from 10:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening.

Guests will get to meet 100 working artists, find out how and why they do what they do, visit their studios, and also participate in their creative processes. Attendees will also get to see how these artists work using watercolour, sculpture, oil, and also pastels. Other artists use other media like jewellery, glass, ceramics, furniture, stone, and the likes.

The Admission fees are as follows:

·         Adults - $10

·         Seniors and Military $8

·         Children under 12 years – free

·         Parking – free

The Celebration of Fine Art ticket is a season pass, therefore good for the ten-week show and sale. The event is sponsored by the Visitor’s Bureau and also the Scottsdale Convention.

b2ap3_thumbnail_Goodguys-Spring-Nationals.pngAutomobile enthusiasts are all invited to attend the Goodguys 5th Spring Nationals which will be on March 7th (Friday) to 9th (Sunday), 2014. The venue for this event will be at the WestWorld of Scottsdale located in 16601 North Pima Road in Scottsdale, AZ. The event will be from 8:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon.

Spectators will get to have three days of automobile fun. There will be an exciting and colourful Show & Shine event, hot rod cruises, plus Goodguys All American Sunday for late models of American made or powered cars. People will get to see more than 2,000 1972 and earlier model cars. Children will also have their own free entertainment.

Spectator Admission and Pricing are as follows:

·         General Admission (13 years and up) - $18

·         Kids Admission (7 – 12 years) - $6

·         Kids (6 years and below) – free

·         Parking - $5 fee charged by WestWorld of Scottsdale

The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) invites everyone to join them in their Parada del Sol Rodeo which will run from February 27, 2014 (Thursday) until March 2, 2014 (Sunday). The event will be at the WestWorld of Scottsdale located at 16601 N. Pima Road.

Guests can expect a number of acts such as steer wrestling, bull riding, barrel racing, and calf roping among others. The events are as follows:

  • Feb. 27 – 7pm Champions Challege

  • Feb. 28 – 7pm Scottsdale Pro Bulls – 45 top PRCA Bull Riders

  • Mar. 1 and 2 –7pm Parada del Sol PRCA Rodeo

The PRCA Champions Challenge that will happen on February 27, 2014 (Thursday) will be nationally televised. Attendees will get to see the top 10 PRCA Cowboys in every event that they will compete in. The past 10 PRCA World Champions are scheduled to compete in this activity. Spectators are also given the chance to get an autograph from the NFR Champions. There will also be a free Rodeo dance to follow to those who have a rodeo ticket.
