For those of you who have been waiting, the Scottsdale Community College men's basketball game is coming up soon. It will be held on Tuesday November 24, 2015, so please come out and join us.


The game will start at 7:30 PM and will end at 9:30 PM. It will be held in the gymnasium at PE133 Gymnasium North. Please come out and join us as we support our men!



The Scottsdale Community College men's basketball game is being supported and hosted by the Men's E Basketball organization.

November 21st is almost here and this year's 32nd annual Arts and Crafts Fair will be here soon. It will have original, quality and handcrafted arts and crafts.  


Please come out and join us on November  21st. This year the fair will take place at the Granite Reef Senior Center, which is located at 1700 N Granite Reef Road. This event is  free and it will begin at 9 a.m. and will end at 3 p.m.   


Food and Entertainment

This will be a fun-filled event with lots of great food and live entertainment.  Please bring your family and friends - we will have some of the best food and the best talent in town.

I Recycle Scottsdale is a recycling program that is designed to help people conveniently dispose of their unwanted recyclables in one place.  


So if you want to unload items such as shoes, old electronics, textiles and more, you can do it all at one location - at I Recycle Scottsdale, this coming Sat., Nov. 14 from 8 a.m. to noon in the parking lot at Pima Center, located at 9200 E. Pima Center Parkway.


I Recycle Scottsdale Nov. 14 is presented by the Keep Scottsdale Beautiful - which is in honor of America Recycles Day.


Additionally, there will be a free paper shredder available that is being recycled for attendees of the event to also take advantage of.

The McDowell Sonoran Conservancy is a 2015/2016 lecture series that features a variety of subjects and topics.  This lecture series caters to a wide variety of interest levels.


Interested parties may attend the Natural History classes to learn additional information about the flora and fauna of our region, geology and desert ecology in addition to the Citizens Science Training Class which will be focusing on the impact we have on hiking trails.



This event is scheduled to take place on Saturday November 7th, 2015 from 7:30am to 12:30pm at the SB183 Tiered Lecture Classroom.

A Day to Honor Our Veterans

Join us for a day filled with inspirational speakers as we celebrate and honor our veterans.  The memorial takes place on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, from 3:00-4:30 pm at MC-Cormick Stillman Railroad Park on 7301 E. Indian Bend Road in Scottsdale, AZ 85250.  


This park sits in the heart of Scottsdale, AZ and features trains from the past and present as well as carousel rides and shops, amongst other attractions.  Admission is free and open to the public.


The annual veterans day celebration promises an event with great speakers and live performances that express gratitude and respect for our veterans.
